Behind the scenes

MATERIALS

We are constantly working to ensure that our fabrics and materials have as little impact on the environment as possible. The fabrics we use are OEKO-TEX® certified, and we choose fabrics made from recycled fibers whenever possible.

TRANSPARENCY

Manufacturing

Our clothes are designed and manufactured in Lahti. We hope that with our operations we can employ more people in Finland in the future. We manufacture a limited number of products, so that there is no overproduction. We use the materials as accurately as possible to avoid textile waste.

FUNCTIONALITY

Our clothes combine the technicality of sportswear, femininity and a piece of Finnishness. From dancers to dancers.

Packaging

Grab the sticker and the biodegradable Moikka bag in the bio waste. Instead of cellophane, we pack the products in recycled tissue paper and a biodegradable mailing bag. Cellophane is only used if the products have a risk of migration during transport. Hello!

Transport

We want to keep the manufacturing chain as short as possible. We source the materials from Europe and try to order a reasonable amount of fabrics to reduce the transport kilometers. In Finland, our package is delivered by Matkahuolto.

Product warranty

Our products are designed to last in use. Sometimes, however, in sewing, cutting or even in the production of fabrics, fluff can and does happen. If the product shows a defect that differs from normal wear and tear within 6 months of purchase, please contact us. Sustainable product development is our number one priority.

Markings

RECYCLING MATERIALS

Products with recycled fibers are marked with this symbol.

OEKO-TEX®

The fabrics we use are certified using the OEKO-TEX 100 standard. The label guarantees that all the properties of the material have been tested for harmful substances and thus the fabrics are also suitable for people with sensitive skin. OEKO-TEX®-certified fabrics are said to be safe textiles.

The marking is a uniform safety standard throughout the entire textile production chain, and thanks to it, it is possible to carry out harmful substance inspections covering all production stages. The samples are tested in independent OEKO-TEX test facilities.

ECONYL®

ECONYL® fiber is made from plastic waste from oceans and landfills, such as used nets and surplus materials from the clothing industry. Recycled ECONYL® fiber is completely new fiber and 100% polyester and polyamide products can be recycled again and again. In this way, new things can be created without consuming the earth's resources.
